TRAVELER
The more I learn about whitetails, the more I recognize that every buck is truly unique and has his own individual behavior. Some deer are aggressive, some are passive, some rut hard, some kind of hang in the background, some are easily patterned, some are chaotically all over the place. Traveler, a buck we had on camera from the beginning of season was no different.
Traveler showed up on camera early August within a week after getting the cameras out.
Traveler received his namesake later in the season when we began to catch pics of him at several different locations and traveling more than a mile between pics in a 24 hour period.
Sam, of Florida, was able to connect with Traveler on the 2nd evening of his hunt. A slightly quartering away shot and a 60yd tracking job led us to traveler!
