Four Bucks in Four Days!
I’m a little late getting this post up, but better late than never! Ray of Wisconsin was in camp with us during our muzzleloader season and after camping out on a different target deer for three days that wouldn’t show during daylight hours, he decided to make the move to another location to go after a nice 10 point that had recently showed up on camera.

This long tined ten point showed up on camera during early September but didn’t make too many appearances during daylight hours.
With only a few daylight pics of this buck and the knowledge that there were a couple of more target bucks in the area, Ray decided to make the switch from the location he was hunting and move to the new location in hopes of tagging one of the target bucks.
The buck came out about 15 minutes before shooting light was up and presented a broadside shot at 115 yards. Ray put the bullet right on its mark striking the buck right behind the shoulder and dropping the deer in his tracks! Although it may not look like it from the picture (he doesn’t usually smile for pics!), Ray was thrilled with his buck and so were we! Ray has been coming to Lil’ Toledo for several years and usually takes a nice Kansas buck home to Wisconsin every year! Congratulations Ray on another great Kansas deer!
